What this notice covers
This notice describes information Daylight Cleaning (DAYLIGHT CLEANING CO. LLC) may collect through the website, quote flow, service records, reports, email, text messages, and vendors.
Information we may collect
- Contact details and communication preferences.
- Property, service, access, schedule, cleaning-plan, and priority details.
- With your permission photos, report evidence, incident notes, and customer requests.
- Payment, tax, invoice, worker, and vendor records when those systems go live.
- Technical data such as device, browser, logs, security events, and cookie choices.
- Website usage measured with Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages and links people use. It does not receive your name, email, or phone number, and you can block these cookies in your browser settings.
- We also use Google Ads conversion measurement to understand whether an ad led to a saved request. It uses cookies and ad-click identifiers, and receives a request reference to avoid counting the same request twice. When you send a request, we may send Google Ads a scrambled (hashed) copy of the email address you gave us, so Google can tell whether an ad led to the request. Google cannot read the original. We never send your name or phone number. Ad personalization stays off. You can block these cookies in your browser settings.
- Your browser keeps the tags on the link you arrived from (such as an ad), the page you landed on and the site you came from for up to 90 days, so a request you send later still shows how you found us. It holds no name, email or phone number.
How we use it
We use information to quote, schedule, provide, inspect, report, correct, secure, support, bill, improve, and comply with law. Marketing uses require the appropriate consent and suppression controls.
If you send us a request through a Facebook or Instagram form, Meta passes us the details you typed: your name, phone, email and answers. We use them only to reply about your cleaning.
Text messages
Daylight Cleaning texts from 812-419-2463 only to people who agreed. You opt in by ticking an optional box on our price builder, through the chat box on our texting page, by texting START, or by saying yes on a call; every way is listed in our SMS terms. Customer-care texts are about your own request or booking, and their frequency varies. Marketing texts (offers and cleaning reminders) go only to people who ticked our separate marketing box, up to 4 a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Sharing
We may share the minimum needed with cleaners, property managers authorized by the customer, payment and hosting providers, storage, messaging providers, the AI model provider for our website chat, insurers, accountants, lawyers, and authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Photos and private access
Photo permission is separate from service acceptance. We keep original evidence linked to report derivatives, restrict access, and do not use customer home photos for marketing unless a separate written release exists.
Website chat
Sunny, the chat on our website, is an AI assistant, not a person. To write Sunny's replies, your chat messages are sent to Anthropic, the company that provides the AI model. Please do not type payment card numbers or other sensitive details into the chat.
We save a chat only if you leave your name and number for a call back. We keep that chat with your request for 30 days, then delete it. Your first question stays with your call-back request, so the person who calls you knows what you asked. To stop abuse and count how often the chat is used, we keep daily counts tied to a scrambled code made from your internet address, never the address itself.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for service, tax, insurance, disputes, safety, employment, or legal obligations. We use access limits, strong authentication, encryption where appropriate, backups, and vendor controls. No system is risk-free.
Your choices
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or opt-out of certain processing. Marketing opt-outs remain separate from service messages. Send requests to hello@daylightcleaningco.com.
Indiana privacy and incidents
Daylight will assess the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act and other applicable laws based on its actual size, data, and processing. If a security incident occurs, Daylight will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law.
Children
The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children for marketing.
